PM Imran's autographed bat, ball bring in millions for dam fund

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s autographed bat and ball managed to gather in a whopping millions of dollars at a fund-raiser for Diamer-Bhasha and Mohamand dams fund in Canada on Sunday.According to reports, the autographed bat by the premier were auctioned drawing in a total amount of $17,000 whereas the ball was auctioned for $10,000.The event in the Canadian city of Edmonton was attended by former chief justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar as well as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Faisal Javed who on the occasion stated that around $22 billion worth of water goes to waste on an annual basis in the country.He added that the government has devised a plan for the fund of Diamer-Bhasha and Mohamand dams’ construction.
